About Us:

The Evidence Based Treatment Dissemination Center (EBTDC), funded by the New York State Office of Mental Health, provides clinical training and consultation on evidence-based treatment protocols to NYS' OMH-licensed mental health professionals.

​The Center aims to enhance the quality of life for children and families by increasing clinician access to treatments that are shown to be effective, and improving the quality of care that is delivered.

Mini MAP: Depression Pathway
February 14th, 8:30am - 12:30pm
DESCRIPTION
This training will focus on using MAP resources to treat children and adolescents with depression. This will cover using PWEBS, practice guides, and dashboards to provide evidence-based treatment for clients with depression. The training will also go in depth on depression practice elements such as psychoeducation, activity selection, social skills training, and cognitive restructuring

Mini MAP: Trauma Treatment Pathway
February 24th, 9:00am - 1:00pm
DESCRIPTION
This training will focus on using MAP resources to treat children and adolescents who have experienced trauma. This will cover using PWEBS, practice guides, and dashboards to provide evidence-based treatment for clients with trauma. The training will also go in depth on practice elements such as psychoeducation, monitoring, trauma narrative, and cognitive reprocessing.

DESCRIPTION
MAP is a clinical framework and decision support system designed to help improve the quality of mental healthcare delivered to children and adolescents in NYS.  MAP was created by PracticeWise,LLC, and extensive research and testing has been conducted that demonstrates its effectiveness in helping clinicians deliver care that improves youth mental health outcomes.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
MAP develops clinician skills in:
  1. Selecting and using evidence-based treatment strategies
  2. Applying tools for tracking client progress over time
  3. Utilizing tracking data to guide treatment decisions
  4. Documenting and communicating focused treatment goals, targets, and outcomes
