About Us:The Evidence Based Treatment Dissemination Center (EBTDC), funded by the New York State Office of Mental Health, provides clinical training and consultation on evidence-based treatment protocols to NYS' OMH-licensed mental health professionals.
The Center aims to enhance the quality of life for children and families by increasing clinician access to treatments that are shown to be effective, and improving the quality of care that is delivered. |

ONE DAY INTENSIVE (ODI)
ASD and School-Based Interventions 9:00 am - 2:00 pm (5 CEUs) Hosted in collaboration with the New York City Regional Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders NYSRCASD Are you working with students with ASD? Autistic youth can bring so much diversity and creativity to any school system but many times require particular therapeutic approaches and certain adjustments in well-established interventions in order to thrive and to meet their full potential. During this workshop participants will review ASD symptoms as they frequently present in school-aged population, and will learn the theory and practice of evidence-based strategies to prevent and manage disruptive behaviors. We will also review intervention elements that have been shown to be effective when teaching Autistic students communication and social skills, and will discuss and practice using case studies.

This training highlights the overlap between DBT skills and MAP practice guides. Trainees will choose a current DBT or DBT-informed case and will then be instructed on creating a clinician dashboard. Using that "Intro to Mini MAP" training as a base, this webinar will explain the use of clinical dashboards in the MAP system and focus on developing the technical skills of the trainees in using dashboards to track progress and practice for cases, specifically DBT clients.

Focused Clinical Webinar (FCW)
Mindful Parenting 10:00 am - 11:00 am (1 CEU) When parents take care of their children, they do it with love and devotion, but often forget to take care of themselves, or find it hard to follow their parenting goals, and react in a more "automatic" way of parenting that results in self-blame, guilt, or escalation of relationships in the family. This training will cover the theory behind mindful parenting interventions and will introduce strategies and exercises that clinicians can implement during parent training sessions to support better attunement of parents with their parenting goals for everyone’s benefit and for better, closer relationships and satisfaction in the family. |

Focused Clinical Webinar (FCW)
Reimagining Family Support for Transition-Aged Youth with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) 10:00 am - 12:00 pm (2 CEUs) This 2-hour training is for clinical staff, agency and program leadership, intake coordinators, and any other staff involved in the mental health care of young adults with Serious Mental Illness (SMI). The Family Connectors team, a group of NYS Certified Family Peer Advocates with their own lived experience of supporting a loved one with SMI, will discuss the ways in which family peer support can assist caregivers in becoming supportive advocates for their loved ones with SMI by identifying the challenges they face, offering solutions and strategies to increase family engagement by partnering with providers to promote positive outcomes for their loved one. |
