Focused Clinical Webinar (FCW)
Mindful Parenting

10:00 am - 11:00 am (1 CEU)

When parents take care of their children, they do it with love and devotion, but often forget to take care of themselves, or find it hard to follow their parenting goals, and react in a more "automatic" way of parenting that results in self-blame, guilt, or escalation of relationships in the family. This training will cover the theory behind mindful parenting interventions and will introduce strategies and exercises that clinicians can implement during parent training sessions to support better attunement of parents with their parenting goals for everyone’s benefit and for better, closer relationships and satisfaction in the family.
