​Supports for EBP Implementation

 

Which State Policies Support the Delivery of Evidence-Based Mental Health Care ?

Some of the specific policy supports that increase the likelihood that states offer evidence-based care include,
but are not limited to:
  • information systems/reports used to promote the adoption of EPBs;
  • collaboration with universities used to provide on-going training to providers;
  • establishment of research and training institutes to provide on-going training to providers related to EBPs;
  • whether the state mental health authority conducts research/evaluations on child outcomes
