Krista Kutash, Ph.D.
Dr. Kutash served as Co-Director of the nationally recognized Research and Training Center for Children's Mental Health at the University of South Florida (USF), which operated over a period of 25 years and received $15 million in federal funding. As Co-Director of the Center, she oversaw the annual research conference for 21 years, which became nationally known for its excellence in providing research leadership. She is recognized for her expertise in community-applied research methodology and her application of these methods to researching publically funded children's mental health services, school-based mental health, and parent-support programs. Dr. Kutash retired from USF in the Spring of 2012, and was granted the status of Professor Emeritus; she was a faculty member in the Department of Child and Family Studies at the Louis de la Parte, Florida Mental Health Institute (FMHI) since 1983.
