The IDEAS Center researcher team is collaborating with Center stakeholders, including parents and youth, providers, and policymakers to solve some of the toughest children's mental health care delivery challenges facing states. Together, with our Center stakeholders, we are conducting three studies.
The first study seeks to develop tools and strategies to improve the integration of scientific research evidence into state children's mental health policymaking processes to improve the quality of state-delivered mental health care for children and families. Two additional studies are focused on developing and testing tools and strategies to improve care for youth with serious mental health disorders: those with severe depression visiting emergency departments (ED) for treatment, and youth with first episode psychosis (FEP), two of States' most high-need and high cost populations. |
