Kimberly Eaton Hoagwood, PhD, Receives 2012 Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies Achievement Award
Kimberly Eaton Hoagwood, PhD, vice chair for research and the Cathy and Stephen Graham Professor, Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at NYU Langone Medical Center, was awarded the 2012 Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT) Dissemination and Implementation Science Special Interest Group Achievement Award at ABCT’s annual meeting held in Baltimore, MD, November 14-16.
The award is presented to individuals with exceptional records of promoting dissemination and implementation of science – through research, advocacy and mentorship of junior colleagues – to ensure more individuals in need receive high-quality mental health care.
“We’re incredibly proud that Dr. Hoagwood’s innovative research aimed at improving the reach of mental health services for children and families is being recognized by this prestigious award,” said Glenn Saxe, MD, director of the Child Study Center and chair of the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
